Robert Galinsky

Robert was born in Iowa in the United States but at the very first opportunity, he wasted no time in high-tailing it out of there and headed for the bright lights of Los Angeles to pursue his passion for writing. This produced successful stints at DDB Advertising and Touchstone Pictures (Walt Disney Company) .

He won several Screenwriting awards as an amateur in the United States, and got his first work in 1989 with rewriting a number of successful Hollywood film scripts.

Galinsky was mentored by Academy Award ™nominee and multi-Emmy Award ™ nominee Lawrence Heath (TRIUMPH OF THE WILL, MURDER SHE WROTE).  At that time he was one of only 40 students nationwide selected for the Truby Black Belt Program (the most prestigious screenwriting academy in the world) headed up by  writing guru John Truby.  (www.truby.com)

In the mid-90’s Bobby co-created AMERICA’S LEAST WANTED, an early ‘reality-based’ TV concept for LA.BLUES/ABC which chronicled extremely stupid criminals and their exploits in a 30 minute format.  In addition he wrote EASY PICKINS’ for Feder-Segal productions (Michael Feder/Steven Segal), a modern-day pirate fantasty.

In 1994 Bobby came to Australia after creating a Walt Disney © Consumer Products licensing program that was to be the most successful franchise/licensing arrangement in Australia for three (3) years running.

This close proximity to the world of consumer products and mainstream cinema has given Robert an innate knowledge of what drives successful film, television, and ancillary income streams.

Before teaming up in Top Cat Media, Robert worked with a number of producers in Australia specializing in ‘script doctoring’ and making their projects commercially viable.

As one of the two principals of Top Cat Films, Galinsky produced and marketed the AUD $4.0m candy horror PREY http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024232/ (www.prey-thefilm.com) starring Jesse Johnson (son of MIAMI VICE’s Don Johnson) and singer/actress Natalie Bassingthwaighte.   The cleverly designed marketing program bypassed traditional and costly theatrical releases that plague small films with a series of commercially sponsored ‘event premieres’ in Sydney, Melbourne, and Las Vegas, (USA) which brought the film to a successful DVD and VOD/PPV (Video On Demand / Pay Per View release   the film is set to break even early next year and with these three sales alone, is likely to earn investors a handsome profit.

Their next project Dust and Glory is a major budget action romance adventure set against the world-famous Redex Trials of the 1950s.   A slate of a dozen film and television projects are in various stages of development.

Kelly Dolen

With over two decades of industry experience Kelly has forged a reputation as an intelligent, frugal filmmaker with the ability to get the job done under any circumstance. Possessing the rare ability to equally combine artist integrity and business acumen, his projects have been commercially and critically successful.

Currently in post-production on the multi-million dollar feature John Doe, industry insiders are already touting it as “a tour de force” of acting and execution, that is sure to create a storm around the world.

His past features include the low budget action film Reign in Darkness and the multi-award winning The Gates of Hell. With it’s feeble budget Reign in Darkness went on to sell in over 30 territories and generated over $8 million USD in revenue. The Gates of Hell garnered Official Selection in all the major horror film festivals including its world debut at Graumans Chinese Theater in Hollywood for Screamfest; the most prestigious horror festival in the world.

Independently raising the finances for each of his projects has allowed Kelly to harness a solid experience of both producer and director responsibilities; from the very inception of the idea to sales of the finished product.

His company, Rapidfire Productions has been successfully operating since 1999 with several shorts, documentaries, music video clips and three feature films to its credit. The newly formed Rapidfire Entertainment is now also investing heavily into transmedia products including the video game based on the feature John Doe; Speak for the Dead.
